The S1X-HP Retrievable Packer is a robust, cost-effective annular sealing device that delivers the performance of a permanent packer without the expensive seal units required in more demanding applications. It can be set using simple mechanical actuation and is compatible with the ST-2 On/Off Setting Tool. Ideal for use in zonal isolation, injection, pumping, and production applications, this packer provides a double-grip compression or tension-set seal that can hold differential pressures up to 10,000 psi (689 bar) in temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). It features an internal bypass that reduces swabbing effects during run-in and retrieval and closes when the packer is set. An opening corresponding to the appropriate tubing enables unrestricted flow and permits the passage of wireline tools through the bore of the packer for subsequent operations. Additionally, the packer can be landed in compression, tension, or in a neutral position.
