The WSIX-HP Retrievable Packer is a robust and cost-effective annular sealing device that delivers the performance of a permanent packer without the expensive seal units required in more demanding applications. The packer can be set with the E-4TM Wireline Pressure Setting Tool from Baker Hughes and is compatible with the ST-2 On/Off Setting Tool. Ideal for use in zonal isolation, injection, pumping, and production applications, the WSIX-HP Packer provides a double-grip compression or tension-set seal that can hold differential pressures up to 10,000 psi (689 bar) in temperatures of up to 300oF (149oC). It features a large internal bypass that reduces swabbing effects during run-in and retrieval, and closes when the packer is set. The packer also has an opening corresponding to the appropriate tubing that enables unrestricted flow and permits the passage of wireline tools through the bore of the packer for subsequent operations. It can be landed in compression, tension, or in the neutral position.
