The Baker Hughes NEW-DRILL shale stabilizer is a liquid emulsion polymer designed to provide share stability, friction reduction, and viscosity in water-based drilling fluids. The NEW DRILL stabilizer is comprised of a high-molecular weight, partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA) dispersed in a mineral oil.
