IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention Pressure Control is intended for personnel who have oversight that correct actions are carried out during well intervention operations.

Upon successful completion of Level 4 the candidate will be able to establish consistent practices to assure continued primary well control and well integrity. When anomalous situations occur, or conditions escalate, the candidate will be able to analyse the situation, develop plans to minimize the impact and recover the situation to normal operations Candidates must attend both compulsory components and one (or more) optional component(s). The following certification options are available for Level 3 and 4:

• Completion Operations (compulsory)    12 Hours
• Completion Equipment (compulsory)      4 Hours
• Coiled Tubing Operations (optional)        4 Hours
• Wireline Operations (optional)                  4 Hours
• Snubbing Operations (optional)                4 Hours

Training Duration 20 – 28 Hours + Exam

Candidates must pass a 1hr, 30 question exam (per component) conducted by 3rd party and achieve a 70% minimum pass mark.
