The Aquaness ARKLEAR™ 4043X water clarifier is a cationic polyamine used in the clarification of oilfield and industrial wastewater. This product may be used to increase the settling rate of suspended solids and aid in the coagulation of suspended particles and oil prior to treating vessels.

ARKLEAR 4043X water clarifier may be used without the aid of other water clarification chemicals, or in conjunction with other chemicals to treat water systems. This product is generally diluted in a ratio of 1 part to 1 to 2 parts water, methanol, isopropanol, ethylene glycol or combinations to achieve a desired cost and pour/freeze point.

If this clarifier is used in secondary treatment of oilfield waters, the product should be injected upstream of the treating vessels. Normal treating rates range from 5 – 30 ppm. Initial use concentration can best be determined by bottle tests, jar tests, or a bench-model flotation devise. The final use concentration will be determined in the system. If ARKLEAR 4043X water clarifier is used in combination with other water clarification chemicals, injection points should be spaced to allow complete mixing prior to each injection point.
