ARFLOW™ 7262 Paraffin Inhibitor
The Aquaness ARFLOW™ 7262 paraffin inhibitor is a concentrated dispersant for removing paraffin deposits and water-wetting solids.
The Aquaness ARFLOW™ 7262 paraffin inhibitor is a concentrated dispersant for removing paraffin deposits and water-wetting solids. Applications include downhole, flowlines, free water knockouts, gun barrels, and tank bottoms. ARFLOW 7262 paraffin inhibitor is an excellent water-wetting compound and will keep paraffin from redepositing in production strings and flowlines. Paraffin molecules contacted by this product will be held in the oil phase. ARFLOW 7262 paraffin inhibitor can be diluted with 3 to 4 parts aromatic solvent. In areas where subzero temperatures are encountered, dilutions should be formulated with a blend of aromatic solvents and isopropyl alcohol. Dilutions of this product can be batched downhole, in the flowlines with water, or continuously applied in a diluted blend. Recommended treatment rates will depend upon the final concentration of the blend. Usually, batch treatments will require one gallon of blend for every barrel of flush with a 10 barrel minimum flush volume. Continuous treatments are in the range of 100 to 250 ppm. Flowline treatments with this product are generally accomplished by injecting a mixture of 1 to 2 gallons of the final blend per barrel of flush. The most efficient use of the blend is to achieve a maximum contact time with the deposit. This is done by knowing the rate of fluid movement through the flowline and adjusting the total volume of flush accordingly. High volumes of flush provide greater contact times. If heated fluids are used with ARFLOW 7262 paraffin inhibitor, the time
