RL-HCX
The RL-HCX is a legacy Baker Hughes product with usage dating back to the early 2000s. It is a family of large OD, externally shouldering conductor casing connectors with a single start thread and enhanced thread reliefs for improved fatigue performance. The RL-HCX provides high connector capacity and is available with DNV RP0034 materials.
RL-HCX connectors are large OD conductor connectors that provide high tensile, compressive, and bending capacity. A single-start thread, enhanced thread reliefs, and optional DNV RP0034 qualified materials exhibit premium, proven fatigue performance .
The RL-HCX connectors feature four (4) high strength heat-treated steel anti-rotation keys that provide up to 48 kip-ft of resistive torque, per key, upon installation.
Hands-free, fully pre-installed anti-rotation that removes interaction with rig personnel is also available for over 100 kip-ft of system anti-rotation resistance.
Product validation testing for bending and tension to X80 pipe capacity. Fatigue validation testing performed per DNV C203.
